Red Fried Rice

Red fried rice is a recipe that is too tasty to eat. As the name suggests, the fried rice recipe is apparently red in color. It is so because of the ingredients we use while preparing this recipe. Red fried rice recipe is made of basmati rice, few red colored vegetables and eggs. Which means it is extremely tempting and equally nutritious. You can have the in your main course of dinner or lunch.


• 4 cups basmati rice
• 2 Red onions
• 2 Red pepper
• 2 Red capsicum
• 2 Cherry tomatoes
• 2 eggs beaten
• 2 tablespoon oil
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper ground


Wash the rice under running water for many times and drain it well. Take a big pan add water it. Bring it to boil. Now add rice to it and cover it with lid. Cook it for 12 minutes. In the meantime heat the oil in a wok and add red pepper and onions to it. Fry and stir it for 5 minutes. Now add red capsicum pieces, cherry tomatoes and continue frying and stirring for another five minutes. Now pour in the beaten eggs all at once. Cook it for few seconds without stirring. Now stir it to break egg pieces as it start setting.

Drain the cooked rice properly and add to the wok. Toss it over the heat with the vegetables and egg mixture for 3 minutes. Garnish it with salt and pepper powder. Your red fried rice is ready to eat. Serve it hot.
