Herring salad pod shuboy

This recipe will amaze your friends and guests by its unusual taste and seductive relish. This is sandwiched salad, but it doesn’t contain any bread.

To make these recipes you will need a large plate or a tray.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of herring fillet
  • 1 potato
  • 1/2 onion or 1/2 apple (not very sweet)
  • 1 beet
  • 5 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • Greens for ornament

Method

Boil potato and beet. Until you can pierce it with fork. Then pour cold water and peel them. Grate potato, onion and beet. Cut herring on little pieces. Put in layers on the plate potato, half of mayonnaise, herring, onion, beet, the rest of mayonnaise. Mayonnaise should cover all salad’s surface. Ornate with greens and put in the fridge until it is served.
