Chicken Liver Fry

This chicken recipe is a stir fry made using only chicken liver. It is a high protein food and very good for children. It is prepared using minimum spices, yet full of flavor. People having high cholesterol should take this dish in moderation.

Serves: 2


  • 250 gms liver
  • 4 green chillies
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Few curry leave
  • 1 tbsp refined oil


Clean the liver and cut it into medium pieces. Boil the liver in water with some salt and turmeric.

Heat oil in a pan. Fry chopped onions till they are golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and fry till raw smell goes.

Stir in boiled liver. Sprinkle chilli powder, salt and coriander powder. Add slit green chillies, mix well and simmer for few minutes closing the lid.

Sprinkle pepper powder and remove from fire. Serve hot with chapattis.
